//////// ENGLISCH //////// Now we are on our way to Tonga, perhaps with a stop at Niue. This is the island with the red bananas. If you never heard anything about the red banana, here’s a short info: When Cook came to Niue, a few locals run out of the forest, with teeth full of blood. So the great explorer thought they were cannibals and left the island quickly. In reality they only ate the red banana before, according to the historians.

For the way to Tonga we need approximately 10 days, we are sailing before the wind, with butterfly sails and 5-9 kn wind from E-SE. We make 4-5 kn over ground. Yesterday we fished a Wahoo, he was 5 kg and had a size of 1,10 m. Today at lunch, I made fish sticks with self baked Ciabatta and smoked ham with some of the Wahoo. I also wanted to make ice pop or yoghurt ice cream, in the last days it was really hot here, but the autopilot needs so much energy that the refrigerator can not freeze, so, making ice cream is not possible. 🙁 Apart from that, we are reading, reading and have our watches. By the way I found, in our library, the Asterix-comics, part 1-34 and extra parts like „How Obelix fell into the magic potion when he was a little boy“. 🙂 But all in English :-(, still I read them.
